Abstract.

The paper considers one of the important conveyer transport system problems –estimating of dynamic efforts when the lumps are transported by the lines of conveyers of different design: with rigid roll supports, with overhead cable roll supports, with damping roll supports and with overhead roll supports with damping. Solving of this problem helps to estimate the roller operational life in belt conveyers with different roller types. As opposite to other authors, the author considers  inertia forces caused by the belt sagging due to the moving load the key factor which initiates dynamic efforts. The article formulates and solves problems of the belt and line vibration in conveyers with different types of rollers when they transport lumps. Solving of these problems made it possible to determine response force of the roll supports when the belt with lumps moved on them; dynamic factor and response factor for rollers which were equal to a ratio of response force to lump weight; and the belt  critical velocities at which resonance and self-vibration occurred in the conveyer line. Analysis of the obtained results gives the ground to state that the roll support dynamic factor and response factor increase with increasing of the belt velocity, and decrease with increasing of the belt  tautness. Besides, when belt velocity is 2 m/c and more dynamic factor for the rigid rollers is greater than dynamic factor for overheard roll supports. At the same time, response factor for damping roll supports is greater than response factor for overhead damping roll supports at any  belt velocity. The obtained results may be applied in mining, metallurgical and building industry.
