Abstract.

The work is focused on thermodynamic analysis of parameters which characterize a process of gas escaping from the controlled object with taking into account its heat exchange with the environment.

A heat balance equation was formulated, which describes energy distribution when leakage from the hollow objects is monitored by the fixed volume method. The methodology assumes using of two vessels, in one of which (reference vessel) initial measurement parameters are fixed, and in the other (compensation vessel) current measurement parameters are recorded. Thermal stabilization of these vessels minimizes thermal perturbations caused by gradients of environmental parameters. Energy distribution was analyzed at monitoring leakage from the hollow object by the fixed volume method. Thermodynamic parameters of physical processes, which occurred in a closed thermodynamic system were investigated with taking into account rate of the system leak proofness and heat exchange with the environment. Pattern of the energy distribution in the reference and compensation vessels inside the thermostat was set. Interdependence was showed between internal work of the gas, which was used for monitoring the leakages, and the job which was performed for this gas mass motion.

Keywords: leakage monitoring, fixed volume method, reference and compensation vessel, leakage, heat exchange, environment, energy, job.
