Abstract.

There are the results of investigations of lumpy mined rock and the roller of vibrating classifier interaction given. The analysis of this interaction and the analytical expressions for the calculation of the impact pulse and the impact force is implemented, which allow us to determine the roller’s tension state under an impact. Previous tests of the roller classifier in industrial conditions for the separation of large-sized lumpy rock mass demonstrated that the most loaded rollers are located at the place of the rock mass receiving. Based on the weight of the falling pieces and their impact energy it became necessary to solve the problem of their interaction. Comparative analysis of the impact interaction force, directed from a lump of the rock mass to the roller during the process of transportation, was not observed because the following (force) is an order of magnitude less than the force under falling lump. There was considered the most dangerous case of central impact of the rock mass into the middle of the length of the roller
